Daniel K. Park is the General Manager of Boeing Tianjin Composites (BTC). BTC is a Joint Venture between the Boeing Company and Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) located in Tianjin, China.
Prior to joining BTC, Dan led another Boeing Joint Venture, Aerospace Composites Malaysia (ACM), as the Managing Director after serving in numerous leadership positions in all key business units within The Boeing Company throughout his career.
He first joined The Boeing Company as a Liaison Engineer in 1986 supporting narrow body commercial airplane programs. In the following 34 years at Boeing, he has served in many key positions including:
•Director of 787 Everett Factory Quality Assurance
•Director of BCA Supplier Quality Program Support and Operations
•Program Director of Commercial Aviation Services 767 Passenger to Freighter Conversion Program
•Executive Integrator to the President of Boeing Phantom Works (R&D)
•Mission Assurance Senior Manager in Integrated Defense Systems
•Asia Regional Manager in Commercial Airplanes Procurement Quality
Dan was born in Busan, Korea, and grew up mostly in Seattle Washington. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington in 1986, an MBA from University of Southern California in 1996; a Master‘s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2003; and a Master’s Degree in Management from MIT in 2003.
